The hardest part of installing base trim in this particular house? There are curves.

For those who’ve been following along with our flooring project in the Ashland House, my wifedid a good post with some before and afters.

Reclaimed flooring installation is moving along at the Ashland house. The plan is, once it’s installed, to sand and finish it in a natural tone so it’ll be lighter and more tone consistent than seen here.

This is only half of it. I’ve got another load about this size to pick up.

Also, finding things like this underneath which gives us some idea as to when the subfloor was put on top.
